The defense held Therrell to just 13 total yards until the final play of the game, an 82-yard pass for a TD as time expired for the Panthers' only score of the night. Until that play the Buford defense had outscored the Therrell offense recording a safety in the first quarter.
Meanwhile, the Buford offense showed tremendous balance with 12 different players running the ball. Quarterback Alexander Ross passed for 199 yards and three touchdowns, all going to Dillon Lee on scoring plays of 19, 28, and 41 yards.
Darrian Smith had one rushing touchdown for Buford (3-1) and David Patroni kicked a 32-yard field goal for the Wolves.
