Radio's Red Neckerson dies at 74

CUMMING - Georgia Radio Hall of Fame inductee Gary Corry has died at the age of 74.

Best know to his audiences as Red Neckerson, Corry had been hospitalized recently in Cumming. He died at his home in Forsyth County Tuesday night.

Corry was a fixture over the decades at several Atlanta radio stations, including WQXI in the 1970's and WYAY/WYAI (Y106 & Y104-FM) in the 1980's.

He had just recently completed his memoirs "Keep the Needle Peaking."

Funeral arrangements will be handled by Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming.
