No injuries in Rabbittown wrecks

RABBITTOWN - Nobody was injured but traffic was tied up for about 40 minutes on Georgia 365 Tuesday night following two wrecks that occurred about the same time.

The accidents happened about 6:30 in Rabbittown.

The first one shut the road down for about 20 minutes. Just as the road was being reopened, another accident occurred, apparently caused by "rubbernecking" motorists who had slowed because of the first wreck.

That led to the the road being closed for another 20 minutes.

The accidents happened in the northbound lanes.
