Body recovered from Lake Lanier

GAINESVILLE - The body of a 45-year-old man was pulled from Lake Lanier Tuesday morning, according to Hall County authorities.

Sheriff's Colonel Jeff Strickland says deputies received a report just after 11:00 of a body in the water at Bell's Mill Bridge on Highway 129 North.

The deceased is believed to be a man reported missing Saturday by a roommate.

Strickland says no foul play is suspected at this time, and the victim's name is being withheld until family is notified.
