3 sheriff's deputies cited for life-saving action

CUMMING - Three Forsyth County deputies have been presented with the sheriff's department's medal of valor.

Deputy 1st Class Ryan Yeaton and deputies Matthew Scott and Joseph Dumford all received their awards during a ceremony in Cumming Thursday night.

Yeaton pulled a driver from his burning car back in June.

Scott and Dumford both saved a 4-year-old from drowning on Lake Lanier in June.
