Andrews is radio career achievement nominee

ATLANTA - Jones P. "Jay" Andrews, Vice President/General Manager of the Internet/New Media Division of Jacobs Media Corp. in Gainesville, has been nominated for a 2010 Career Achievement Award by the Georgia Radio Museum and Hall of Fame.

Andrews' career in radio has included work in Atlanta and Dahlonega, where he purchased a small station and operated it for several years before selling it. He began his tenure at Jacobs Media more than 10 years ago.

Career Achievement inductees will be announced at the 4th Annual Georgia Radio Museum and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies, October 23.
