Buford woman wins $250k playing Ga. Lottery

BUFORD - A 35-year-old Buford woman, who used a Georgia Lottery-funded HOPE scholarship to further her education, is a quarter-mllion dollar Georgia Lottery winner.

Michelle Romero won a $250,000 second prize by matching the first five winning numbers in a Mega Millions drawing. She bought the winning ticket at the Kroger supermarket on Hamilton Mill Road in Buford.
