Martini left the race Wednesday to deal with family issues.
Georgia law allows a party to choose a new candidate in the event of a withdrawal.
Dan Barber appeared as the new Libertarian candidate for lieutenant governor late Wednesday on the secretary of state's website.
The site says Barber is 46 and self-employed.
Libertarian Party of Georgia spokesman Brett Bittner says the party plans to release information about Barber once all the necessary paperwork has been completed for the substitution.
Barber will face incumbent Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, a Republican, and Democrat Carol Porter in the November general election.
