The body was found about 11:30 Saturday morning in the general area where, according to witnesses, he disappeared Friday.
The victim is 28 and from Atlanta.
"He was on the boat with a friend and her ten year old son," according to Capt. Tommy Rutledge of the Gwinnett County Fire Deprtment. "The woman admitted that the two had consumed alcohol before going out on the boat. They were not wearing life jackets at the time. It is still not clear who owns the boat or how the three came to be on the boat out in the lake."
