LAWRENCEVILLE - The Gwinnett County Police Department Auto Theft Unit is investigating a rash of automobile thefts - a dozen in all - at or around Gwinnett Place Mall, Discover Mills Mall and the Mall of Georgia.

Investigators are asking the public for assistance in identifying two suspects in the case.

"These two Asian males are suspected in the thefts of several 1990s model Honda Civics and Accords," Cpl. Edwin Ritter said. "The suspects were seen on surveillance video parking one stolen car and stealing another."

Ritter added that they are also seen walking through the doorway into a store.

"Suspect one is wearing a white ball cap, dark shirt and blue jeans. Suspect two is wearing a dark ball cap, plaid button shirt with khaki shorts. We are asking for anyone that can identify these two men to please contact the Gwinnett County Police Department at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477... crimestoppersatlanta.org.
