The Longstreet Clinic welcomes new vascular surgeon

GAINESVILLE-The Longstreet Clinic, P.C., is pleased to announce that Dev Mangalat, M.D., has joined Dan Procter, M.D., F.A.C.S., in the Department of Vascular Surgery. Together, they bring more than 30 years of vascular surgery experience to Gainesville and North Georgia.

Dr. Mangalat received his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons. He completed his five-year general surgery residency at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio. He also completed a two-year vascular surgery fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center/Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute in Charlotte, N.C.

Dr. Mangalat specializes in endovascular treatment of peripheral artery disease and abdominal aortic aneurysms, carotid endarterectomy for carotid artery disease, and endovenous ablations for varicose veins. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Mangalat also is a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery, the American College of Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons.
