ATLANTA -- Georgia Tech defensive end Robert Hall has been suspended for one game.

Coach Paul Johnson suspended Hall indefinitely in June after Hall's argument over money with his girlfriend led to a battery charge.

Johnson announced the one-game suspension at the ACC Kickoff media event in Greensboro, N.C. Hall will miss the team's opening game against South Carolina State.

According to a Georgia Tech police incident report, Hall slammed former Yellow Jackets basketball player Brigitte Ardossi into a door and wall of their campus residence, causing her head to bleed.

Johnson says Hall almost has completed his community service.

Hall, a senior, was limited by a knee injury to only three games last season.
