2 injured in Queen City Pkwy. crash

GAINESVILLE - Two people were injured and a section of Queen City Parkway closed about noon Tuesday following an accident involving a motorcycle and another vehicle.

As a result of the accident, both southbound lanes were closed for time. In addition, the northbound lanes were shut down about 11:45 in preparation for the landing of a helicopter ambulance which left shortly after noon.

Late Tuesday afternoon, the state patrol was still not releasing any more information on the accident.
