BUFORD - Authorities have now released the names of the three people who died in a one-vehicle crash near Buford Thursday night, and police think alcohol and speed may have been factors.

"The vehicle was occupied by three adult males at the time of the accident," said Gwinnett Police Corp. Brian Kelly. "All three suffered fatal injuries."

Kelly said the three have been identified as 36-year-old Terry Hammock of Grayson - the vehicle's driver, 27-year-old William Lewis of Buford and 31-year-old Chad Litton of Lawrenceville.

He said the truck left Doc Hughes Road, hit a fence and a guardrail and fell down an embankment...finally resting in a stream.

Two of the three victims were not wearing seatbelts. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.
