Georgia Gwinnett College, which opened its doors four years ago, cut the ribbon on the first part of its new $100 million housing complex Wednesday morning.
The dorm features suites with private bedrooms, flat-screen televisions and academic spaces for classes and study groups.
Georgia Gwinnett is the state's first public four-year college in more than a century. It opened in 2006 with just 100 students and has more than 3,000 enrolled now.
