Bertrang named Banks County Head Start/Pre-K director

HOMER - Jan B. Bertrang is the new director of the Head Start/Pre-K center in Banks County operated by Ninth District Opportunity.

She has been an employee of the Banks County School System since 1978, having
served as a language arts teacher, assistant principal and principal. Since 2002, she was principal of Banks County Elementary. She retired from the system in June after being named Administrator of the Year for the school year.
