"We went down from 3,530 driving without a licenses arrests to 1,498, which is less than half," Conway told the Georgia News Network.
Conway says he is confident that drop is due to the crackdown on illegal immigrants, forcing them to stop driving illegally.
"I would have to (attribute) that to illegal aliens not driving as they did previously before we got 287g. It's obvious it's created quite a reduction - made the streets safer to drive on."
Similar programs are in place in Hall, Whitfield and Cobb counties.
