Counties are allowed to begin early voting sooner, as is the case in Gwinnett County where early voting began May 28. But because Hall County is having a special election run-off on Tuesday, the election board wanted to minimize confusion between the two events, according to Charlotte Sosebee, Hall County Interim Director of Election & Voter Registration.
"Since we are conducting a special-election run-off, we are going to try to cut down the confusion of the voters by starting our early voting for the primary on June 7th, which is the 45th day before the Primary."
Early voting will take place in the Hall County Elections and Voter Registration offices at 2285 Brown's Bridge Road, Suite 2, on Mondays through Fridays between 8:00-5:00 each day.
Absentee ballots are available beginning Monday, continuing through July 16, as well, for mail-out. Absentee ballots can also be requested by mail or fax.
Sample ballots are available by mail or on the elections office website.
