Helicopter mechanic arrested for child porn

SAVANNAH - A contract helicopter mechanic assigned to Winder has been arrested in regards to a child pornography investigation.

FBI officials said 52-year-old Danny Frank Goodermote was arrested at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah Friday.

Authorities said Goodermote was charged after multiple images of child porn were found downloaded onto his personal laptop.
