COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A soldier killed in a Colorado Springs wreck has been identified as 28-year-old John DeLong of Gainesville.

The Colorado State Patrol says DeLong died Sunday when his pickup truck veered off the road and flipped.

His identity was released Tuesday.

According to KXRM-TV in Colorado Springs, DeLong was stationed at Ft. Carson, Colorado.

Investigators say neither drugs, alcohol, nor speed are suspected as factors.

The State Patrol says DeLong was thrown from the pickup.
