At the request of the University System of Georgia Board of Regents, the GSC pool will not close as anticipated.
This request was made in order to provide swim programs for our students and the community.
Dr. Martha Nesbitt, President of GSC, said, "We were just distraught with the notion that we were going to have to close the pool, because we know what an asset it is. But we didn't feel that we had any choice."
