CLEVELAND - The White County Sheriff s Office will soon have two new patrol cars, thanks to tax revenue from the sale of alcoholic beverage.

The County Commission recently approved the purchases.

County Manager Carol Jackson says tax revenue collections from beer and wine sales this year has far exceeded the amount budged. The commissioners decided to use the excess money to purchase the much needed vehicles for the sheriff.
