Georgia State men's golf, led by an All-Tournament effort from junior Alan Fowler, finished their season with a fifth place finish at the 2010 Colonial Athletic Association championship Sunday on the 6,679 yard, par 70 Cascades course at the Homestead in Hot Springs, Va.

A North Hall High graduate, Fowler earned his first career All-Tournament honor thanks to a tie for fourth place, moving up two places with a final round 73 (+3). The fourth place finish ties his career best, set this year at the Samford Intercollegiate.

The Gainesville native becomes the ninth Panther in school history to earn All-Tournament honors, and extends Georgia State's streak of having at least one All-Tournament performer in each of the last five years, dating back to 2006, the Panthers' first year as a CAA member.

Meanwhile, sophomore Jared Cagle, a Johnson High graduate, earned a top-20, improving on each of the three days with a 75 (+5) in the final round. The top-20 represents the best finish of Cagle's career. His previous best was a tie for 26th at the Turtle Bay Resort Invitational.
