UNDATED - About 300 people turned out in Cumming Thursday for the 2nd Annual Tax Day Tea Party Rally and later in the day, thousands showed up for a rally at the state Capitol in Atlanta.

In Cumming, people surrounded the Forsyth County Courthouse, lining all four streets, waving flags and holding signs. Most passing motorists waved back, honking their horns in support.

Kerry Hill and Kelly Henkel carefully over watched their children as each child held a sign or flag and waved at passing automobiles from the safety of the sidewalk.

Hill said, â
