Fire destroys N. Gwinnett home

SUWANEE - Fire destroyed a house between Suwanee and Duluth early Tuesday.

No one was apparently living in the 1,200-square-foot structure near Old Peachtree Road and Satellite Boulevard. Firefighters arrived about 4:30.

Gwinnett County Fire Department spokesman Tommy Rutledge said it took about an hour to bring the fire under control.
