The chapter also achieved gold membership status and was ranked the 14th DECA chapter in the state.
In addition, 15 students out of 2,000 DECA members from around the state received the Outstanding DECA Member Award and four were from CHS: KayLynn Samples, Megan Montrois, Chelsea Cheshire, and Whitney Brechter.
Students who also competed were: Mauricio Menjevar, Kara Honea, Ariela Centeno, Joey Karrigan, Kaylan Senter, and Blakely Haff.
DECA advisor Meghan Hatcher says several CHS chapter members placed in their respective events where they competed against several other DECA students from across Georgia:
