Girls soccer: Castillo leads Lady Elephants past South Gwinnett

GAINESVILLE - Gainesville remained unbeaten in the early going after taking a 2-0 win over South Gwinnett in girls soccer action Friday night.

The Lady Elephants (3-0) got a goal and an assist from Raquel Castillo in the win.

Castillo assisted on a first half goal by Catherine Chambers and then sealed the game midway through the second half with an unassisted goal to give Gainesville a two-goal cushion.

Hong Tran had four saves in goal for Gainesville in recording the shutout.
