ATHENS -- Georgia's search for a new starting quarterback is the competition to watch as Georgia opens spring practice on Thursday.

Two redshirt freshmen Aaron Murray and Zach Mettenberger and junior Logan Gray are the top candidates to replace 2009 senior Joe Cox.

New defensive coordinator Todd Grantham also will begin installing his 3-4 scheme.

Georgia has only one practice this week before leaving for spring break on Friday. The G-Day spring game is scheduled for April 10.
