Rucker named Youth of the Year

GAINESVILLE - A senior at Gainesville High School - Teryan Rucker - is this year's Hall County Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year. The announcement was made Friday at the annual awards luncheon.

Rucker has been a member of the club for 12 years.

Earlier this month, when he and the other contestants made their cases to a panel of judges, Rucker said the Boys and Girls club calmed him down and let him see what he really wants in life.
