Golf: Gainesville girls win again

GAINESVILLE -- The Gainesville High girls golf team outshot Dawson County over six holes on Thursday afternoon at Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville.

The Lady Red Elephants carded a 71 to Dawson's 81.

LeeAnn Noble paced Gainesville with a 7-over through six holes. Stephanie Lightfoot also carded a 14-over.

Rachel Dotson led Dawson County with an 11-over. Taylor Hasbrouck finished 18-over.

The Lady Red Elephants will play again on Saturday in the Gwinnett Open at The Chimneys.
