Extreme northeast Georgia under a winter weather advisory today for perhaps an inch of snow. The advisory is only for Rabun County. Elsewhere in north Georgia, rain and snow showers are expected for most of today but with no accumulation.
That compares to February 12, when 3-6 inches fell across the northern part of the state.
After the precipitation ends today, the winds move in and tonight and tomorrow are expected to be bitterly cold. We'll be waking up to wind chills in the mid-teens tomorrow.
