Dawson Co. wreck victim identified

DAWSONVILLE - The woman found dead near Dawsonville after her car went off the road and hit a tree has been identified... and the Dawson County coroner said she did not died from the wreck.

73-year-old Sandra Tamasi's car was still running when it was found on the side of Hubbardsville Road Tuesday afternoon. And while it's true her car hit a tree, Dawson County coroner Ted Bearden said it was a very low-impact collision.

Bearden said an autopsy reveals that Tamasi died of a heart-related condition, not because of injuries she sustained in the wreck.
