About those numbers painted on the road...

GAINESVILLE - People traveling through the Browns Bridge Road/McEver Road intersection west of Gainesville recently may have wondered about those numbers painted on the pavement.

It's not the work of the state DOT or local government road crews, according to the DOT's Teri Pope. Pope says the markings are a part of the preparation for construction of a driveway for the new Race Track convenience store scheduled for the intersection.
