Lanierland: Chestatee girls advance to tourney final for first time

GAINESVILLE -- It was a game Chestatee girls basketball coach Web Daniel had seen before: his team leading the entire way only to fall victim to wild comebacks in the final minute.

He was watching it happen again in the semifinals of the Lanierland Tournament Tuesday night as North Hall rallied from a 10-point first half deficit to take the lead with less than two minutes left.

This time, however, Daniel's Class AAA third-ranked Lady War Eagles would turn the tables.
