The call came in about 12:30, according to Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell.
Kimbrell says the 2,000-square-foot house suffered about $60,000 damage. He says investigators determined that a chimney fire had extened into the attic.
Kimbrell said the occupants reported the fire and were able to get out of their house unharmed.
