Middle School Basketball
Per our standard operating procedure for middle school athletics, middle school basketball games scheduled for today, Dec 16 are cancelled.
Sardis Elementary School
Here are tomorrow's plans for 12/17/10.
We will have our student sing-a-long program in the gym as planned at 8:30. We will stick to Friday's revised specials schedule, and have holiday classroom celebrations at 1:00
WHHS Christmas Party
WHHS is having a staff Christmas party at The Oaks tonight at 6:30. It is on as scheduled
DVA Parent Meeting
The Da Vinci Academy Parent Information meeting that had been
scheduled for noon today has been cancelled.
The 6 pm meeting WILL be held as scheduled tonight. At the Da Vinci
Academy.
The final Parent Information Meeting will be held tomorrow, Friday,
Dec. 17, at noon at the Central Office.
East Hall High School
East Hall High School will operate under a normal bell schedule on 12/17/2010 with the following things taking place:

East Hall High Band Concert
The EHMS/EHHS Band Concert scheduled for tonight 12/16/2010 has been cancelled.
C.W. Davis Middle School
Any exams/presentations/assignments scheduled for Thursday will now be due on Friday.
Chestnut Mountain class parties
The class parties which were scheduled for today at Chestnut Mountain will be held at the same scheduled time tomorrow.
East Hall Middle School
All remaining finals, assignments, and performance tasks scheduled for Thursday, December 16th at East Hall Middle School will now be administered/due on Friday, December 17th.
Mount Vernon Elementary
Due to the winter weather cancelling school on Thursday, please note the following activities:
1) The PTO Program/2nd grade Christmas performance will take place tonight at 7:00PM. 2nd grade students need to report to the cafeteria to practice with Mrs. Beverly at 6:15PM. This program is not cancelled.
2) 5th grade ADVANCE graduation will be rescheduled for the week following Christmas holidays. More details with a date and time will be sent as they are finalized.
3) Secret Santa pick-up will take place Friday from 8:00AM to 11:00AM at Mount Vernon. Contact Mrs. Nix at the school on Friday for any questions or concerns.
4) Christmas parties for all grade levels will take place on Friday as follows:
Kindergarten- 9:30AM
1st grade- 12:15PM-1:30PM
2nd grade- 10:30AM
3rd grade- 9:00AM
4th- grade 8:00AM
5th grade- 10:00AM
Grade levels will all participate in "Put The Year to Rest" activities on Friday as well.

North Hall High School
Due to inclement weather, the North Hall High School Mid-Term Exam schedule is modified as follows:
Friday, 17 December 2010: Students will take exams in periods 1, 2,3, & 4.

West Hall Middle School
Teachers at WHMS will move forward with assessments as planned for Friday, Dec. 17. If a teacher plans to make any changes, it will be posted on the teacher's website and can be located at www.hallco.org/whms and then click on Teacher Pages.

The west hall faculty Christmas dinner will go on as scheduled at lcca at 6:30pm this evening. 12/16/2010

Students should be prepared to take all exams tomorrow (periods 1-6) if school is in session. If we do not have school on Friday, students will be allowed to take exams in January.
McEver Arts Academy Play

Flowery Branch High School
All tests are being given on Friday.
Johnson High School
Johnson High School will operate on a normal schedule Friday. Any assignments due on Thursday will be completed during the school day on Friday. Teachers will be given the discretion to modify assignments as necessary due to the missed school day. Also, the Chorus concert schedule for tonight has been canceled and will be rescheduled at a later time.
