Gov.-elect retaining LLI auth. head

ATLANTA - Gov.-elect Nathan Deal says he will re-appoint Bill Donohue to his job as Executive Director of the Lake Lanier Islands (LLI) Development Authority.<br /> <br /> Deal announced Wednesday that Donahue is one of several people in state government he will ask to stay on. Donohue also serves as Executive Director of the North Georgia Mountains Authority and will continue in that post, as well.<br /> <br /> But, he is making some changes at the top of some departments.<br /> <br /> Deal said he will appoint Sid Johnson as the commissioner for the Department of Administrative Services. Johnson currently serves as the administrator of the Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs. Deal has chosen Cobb County lawyer John Sours as the new leader for Consumer Affairs.<br /> <br /> The governor-elect will nominate Amy Howell to serve as the commissioner of the Department of Juvenile Justice. Howell currently holds a deputy commissioner position at the department.<br /> <br /> State Revenue Commissioner Bart Graham says he is on his way out but a Deal spokesman says the governor-elect is not ready to make any announcement about that job.
