Shooting victim undergoes second surgery

GAINESVILLE - Investigators from the Hall County Sheriff's Office still have not been able to talk with the 19 year old victim of an apparent accidental shooting earlier this week.

Jerrod Turner suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen early Monday at Country Side Village Mobile Home Park near Flowery Branch.

A sheriff's office spokesman said Wednesday Turner has undergone another surgery since Mnoday and remains on a respirator.

He remains in stable condition at Grady hospital in Atlanta.
