PSB ribbon-cutting, tours

GAINESVILLE - The public is invited to tour the City of Gainesville's new public safety building (PSB) following a 2:00 ribbon-cutting Tuesday afternoon and help celebrate the city's birthday at the same time.<br /> <br /> The city fire and police departments and municipal court have relocated to the buiding in recent weeks. <br /> <br /> Tuesday is also the city's 189th birthday and the public is invited to stop by to help celebrate and enjoy a piece of birthday cake.<br /> <br /> A communitywide "official" grand opening of the new public safety building, located on Queen City Parkway, will be held May 7. <br />
