Delta Air Lines spokesman Anthony Black says a power outage Monday morning in part of the B Concourse has affected some Delta gates. The airline has been forced to move arrivals and departures from those gates to other gates.
Delta had asked the Federal Aviation Administration to put a ground hold on its flights out of Atlanta until 9 a.m. By midmorning, Delta was delaying flights into Atlanta because the power was still out.
Black says Mondays are generally busy, and this Monday is particularly busy because of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International airport spokeswoman Katena Carvajales says the outage affected the south end of the B Concourse. She says the cause of the outage wasn't immediately clear.
