Farm Leaders Recognize At Farm-City Breakfast

(Cleveland)- The White County Chamber of Commerce hosted the eighth annual Farm-City Breakfast Thursday in appreciation of the vital farm-city partnerships in our area. The week leading up to and including Thanksgiving Day has been proclaimed as National Farm-City Week. The breakfast recognized the top revenue producing industries in our county, agriculture. The breakfast was held at the Agri-Science Center north of Cleveland.
Former County Extension agent Michael Harris and long time county farmer Edsel Nix were inducted into the Agriculture Hall of Fame. White County School System recognized as Agriculture Friend and Stanley "Stump" Oliver family was awarded as the Conservation Family of the year.
