GAINESVILLE - Several traffic controls have been installed as safety measures around the newly-opened Gainesville Justice Center and Fire Department Headquarters on Queen City Parkway.

The intersections of High Street and Main Street and High Street and Grove Street are now all-way stops.

In addition, a new traffic signal at Queen City and Summit Street is in flashing operation and will be turned to full operation on Monday. At full operation, it will flash until a fire truck starts leaving the station. Then, the signal will stop all traffic while it exits onto Queen City Parkway from Summit Street.
