Air ambulance responded to Lumpkin Co. crash

DAHLONEGA - All lanes of Burnt Stand Road in Lumpkin County were shut down for some time Tuesday evening as authorities responded to a serious traffic accident.

Lumpkin County authorities said a vehicle overturned near Tom Ben Josh Drive around 5p.m. They said injuries have been reported.

Officials said an air ambulance responded to the scene and transported a patient to Atlanta Medical Center. No other details were immediately available.
