ATHENS -- Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray is listed as day to day after suffering a bruised knee and a bruised sternum in Saturday's 49-31 loss at No. 2 Auburn.

Georgia director of sports medicine Ron Courson's update on Murray's injuries on Monday.

Murray had to be helped from the field and did not return after Auburn's Nick Fairley's helmet hit the quarterback's knee late in the Tigers' 49-31 win on Saturday.

Fairley was penalized for a late hit on Murray earlier in the game.

The play that knocked Murray out of the game preceded skirmishes that resulted in the ejections of Auburn's Mike Blanc and Michael Goggans, who threw punches.

Georgia is off this week before playing Georgia Tech on Nov. 27.

Numerous outlets have reported that coach Mark Richt has said that Murray will play against the Yellow Jackets.
