CLEVELAND - Georgia Highway 115 east of Cleveland was closed for almost two hours Wednesday morning because of a couple of accidents involving ten vehicles.

Ana Newberry with the White County Fire Department said it's believed that the blinding morning sun contributed to the chain-reaction accidents. Both occurred on the eastbound side of the road.

Traffic was routed around the scene for about one-and-a-half hours until the road could be cleared.

There were no serious injuries.

Motorists in both the afternoon and the morning are finding the sun in a different location than recent weeks following the end of Daylight Saving Time Sunday.
