GSU rally targets student-immigrant issue

ATLANTA - Immigration activists are throwing their support behind proposed federal legislation that would allow illegal immigrants to attend college in the United States while pursuing US citizenship.

Georgia News Network reports they held a rally Monday at Georgia State University in support of the Dream Act.

The state Board of Regents recently adopted a rule requiring illegal immigrants to pay out of state tuition.
