OAKWOOD - No one was injured in a South Hall house fire Sunday night that was electrical in nature.

The two-story, 1,800 square foot house is located on Apache Circle in El Rancho Estates.

"Upon arrival firefighter found a 1600 square foot split-level home with smoke showing," according to Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell. "(The) occupants were not at home at time of fire (which) was called in by neighbors."

Kimbrell says firefighters found the fire in an upstairs bedroom. He says investigators determined the blaze was accidental and started behind a dresser where several electronic items were plugged in."

Red Cross was called to assist the family.
