NGMC named one of 10 best places to work in Ga.

GAINESVILLE - Northeast Georgia Medical Center has been named by Georgia Trend magazine one of the Best Places to Work in Georgia.

From employee nominations submitted through the Georgia Trend website, the editorial staff selected 10 companies from across the state whose employees consider them the best.

"We take it as a given that people truly value their jobs in a tough economy and a period of high unemployment; but it is also true that working Georgians appreciate being treated well, being made to feel a part of a community and given a chance to excel at what they do," the article stated.

"We are honored to be named among this elite group and are thankful for the employees who submitted comments in support of our organization," said Jim Gardner, president and CEO of Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS). "Our employees are one of our most valuable assets and a key to our success."
