Dickie, who came in with an ERA under 1.00 for the season, earned her second win in the state finals as Buford beat fellow Region 6-AA foe Greater Atlanta Christian 2-0 at the Columbus Softball Complex.
Dickie walked just one and fanned nine in getting her 15th win of the season. It was her 14th complete game and sixth shutout.
The Lady Wolves (31-4) got both runs in the third inning. Kallie case walked and came around to score on a RBI triple from Lexi Overstreet. Karly Fullem would follow with a double scoring Overstreet.
GAC's only baserunner came in the fourth inning.
Buford needs just one win to take home its fourth straight state title. The Lady Wolves, however, will not play again until 11:15 a.m. Saturday against the winner of the GAC-Union County elimination game.
After losing to Buford Thursday, Union County won its first game Friday 3-1 over Berrien and then knocked off North Oconee 2-1 in the second game to advance. North Oconee knocked off Pike County 2-0 in its first game of the day.
