Snow by week's end?

UNDATED - Enjoy the dry weather while it lasts. It all could be changing soon with maybe some wintry precipitation by the weekend.
The National Weather Service now says the best chance of snow is in the mountains Friday night and Saturday but with very little accumulation expected.
However, there is the chance of some snow along and north of an Atlanta-to-Athens line.
